Abstract

This article offers an in-depth analysis of the impact of digital transformation on corporate social responsibility (CSR), based on a systematic and bibliometric review of existing literature. The digital transformation, driven by technological innovation, has become a key driver of competitiveness, profitability and sustainable value creation for companies. At the same time, CSR has become an essential strategic framework, enabling organizations to combine economic, social and environmental performance.
The main objective of this article is to explore how technological advances influence corporate CSR practices, highlighting the effect of internal and external factors on the synergy between technological innovation and CSR.
The findings of this research reveal that digital transformation not only improves companies' economic performance, but also addresses environmental and social challenges by promoting sustainable and inclusive practices. However, the benefits of this relationship depend largely on companies' ability to align their technology strategies with their CSR commitments, while integrating stakeholder expectations and the imperatives related to the ecological transition.
In this context, we will first examine the basic definitions of technological innovation and CSR. We will then analyse the relationship between these two concepts. Finally, we will propose a synthesis of the empirical research on the subject and study the results obtained.
